Great coffee and a warm welcome - that's what the Manna Cafe at Liskeard Methodist has been become so well known for! We've been offering Fairtrade filter coffee, teas and wondeful homemade biscuits and cakes for over thirty years now, serving the Liskeard town centre community. The name 'Manna' comes from the Biblical story of God providing sustenance to those hungry in the desert. We certainly hope you'll find your visit to Manna a heavenly experience!

Manna is open

Our Team

Manna is entirely staffed by our wonderful volunteers. The team are drawn not only from the Churches of the Liskeard & Looe Methodist Circuit, but from Churches further afield and the local community as well. Others volunteer by making and baking our genuinely homemade cakes and biscuits. There's always room for the team to grow so if you're interested call into Manna and speak to Ros, our Volunteer Co-Ordinator .

Not for Profit

An important part of what Manna does, and one of the reasons we're so well supported, is because all surplus profits are given away to a wide variety of charities. We mainly support local charities and groups, giving away around £2000 per annum. The work of Manna is overseen and managed by more volunteers - a small committee which meets three times per annum.
